CDMF Performing Arts Festival

15 March 2020

 Dear Competitors, Parents and Teachers,

Subject:  Cancellation of CDMF Honours Concert, April 5, 2010.

It is with deep regret that I have to announce we will be postponing our Festival Honours Concert for at least three months.  Together with many other organizations, we have made the decision to curtail our activities in an effort to contain the COVID-19 virus.  As a Festival we are, on one hand, fully supportive of every effort to control the spread of this virus, but on the other hand we also recognize the disappointment of those not able to perform and receive their various awards at our April 5th Honours Concert.

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking everyone for their support of CDMF Festival 2020 and to all the competitors, I wish them every success in their future endeavors.

Michael Wright.

President, CDMF Performing Arts Festival.

Registration for the 2020 Festival is now closed. The entry deadline was December 15th, 2019.

What’s New For 2020

  • Please note that there will no longer be a
    National Class at Provincials. Performing
Arts BC has added a “Provincial Excellence Class” to their Performing Arts BC Official Syllabus 2019-2020, which replaces the National Class at Provincials. Please refer
to the 2019-2020 Provincial Official Syllabus
    for details and performance requirements.
  • We have added new Provincial Classes for Speech, Classical Voice and Musical Theatre. Competitors wishing to be considered for Provincials for these disciplines must enter one of the new Provincial Classes which will
be found in our online Syllabus.
